Watch the haunting video of Johnny Cash’s 2002 cover of Hurt. The song was originally done by Nine Inch Nails in 1995. Cash’s version was awarded Best Video of the Year by the Grammy’s and Country Music Association. His wife, June Carter Cash, who is in the video, died 3 months after filming, and Johnny died 7 months after filming the video. NME – the British music magazine comparable to Rolling Stone – selected this video as the greatest video of all time. Time Magazine ranked it in its top 30 videos of all time in 2011. And…it’s #1 on my list of GOAT videos!
