I wrote about novelty songs in my June 24, 2018 AWESOME! post. One of the songs I wrote about is my favorite novelty song, Amish Paradise, released in 1996 by Weird Al Yankovic. It’s a parody of the Coolio 1995 song Gangsta’s Paradise. The video is hilarious – you MUST watch it! I also included Coolio’s original video, so you can see how much Weird Al sounds like Coolio – “fool!”
