Ever hear about Ben Folds? He’s an incredibly talented singer, songwriter, musician and producer who first hit the national scene as the frontman to the alternative pop-rock band Ben Folds Five. His roots are based in North Carolina, with significant ties to Nashville. In 2005, he started to perform with symphony orchestras, and in 2014, a piano concerto that he composed premiered with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. In 2017, he was appointed as the first-ever Artistic Advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra.
